Scott Andrew's HTML 5 audio player demo →
A proof-of-concept, best viewed in Safari 4.0 (‘cause that’s what I used to develop it).
Think what you want about the iPad and Apple’s non-support of Adobe Flash. If you’re a webdev and not a little bit excited about creating rich media with HTML5, Javascript and CSS, you just might be a dried-out husk.

three universes
Scott: dude, I'm so relived we got the cross-browser stuff worked out
Scott: wotta PITA
Michal: no kidding
Michal: it's like doing the work for three universes
Michal: one's upside down, the other's offset by a few feet and a little smaller on the left, and one's just right
Scott: yeah, and the laws of gravity and electromagnetism are just slightly different
Michal: it's like each browser comes with a reality distortion field :)
Indie rock: it’s not only yelping and glockenspiels. *Mostly*, but not...

I don’t always agree Faza but I totally get this. There’s a ton of cargo cult thinking from aspiring artists and “music 2.0” “journalism” these days.

Everyone’s favorite music industry analyst — one who does actual analysis instead of divination and entrails-reading — is moving to Billboard.
I’m kinda split on this one, as I’m happy Glenn landed a paying gig writing about a topic he’s so obviously passionate about, but I’ll always see Billboard as that magazine with the annual “Hooray For Kenny...
